If you have registered online via this website, you will have received a confirmation email. Please print this and bring it with you. (If this is not possible, please make sure you that you bring your registration id, quoted in the email.)

if you have arranged accommodation on-site

The University of Limerick will let you know 3 weeks before the event which accommodation village you will be staying in. On arrival on Sunday, August 9, please go first to your accommodation village to check in. Both Cappavilla Village and Dromoe Village have a reception area, which will be open from 2pm until 11pm. Once checked in please then locate your room and drop off your bags there.

If you have requirements for an early check-in we would ask that you submit your request to in advance of your arrival and the accommodation office will do their best to accommodate you where possible. Please note: If you arrive after 11pm there will be a contact number on the door of village reception which you can ring and someone will come down to check you in.

Please then go to the Congress Registration Desk, which will be located in the Atrium in the Foundation Building in the centre of the University Campus, to register your arrival at the Congress. You will receive a Congress Welcome pack containing the Congress programme, Congress pass, maps and other useful information. The Registration Desk will be open from 9am until 5:30pm.

things to do after you have registered

After you have registered, you can get refreshments at the nearby Café Allegro, go for a walk around the picturesque campus, or have a lie-down in the Bourn Vincent Gallery, a very pleasant space where mats and books will be ready for you. (Please note that no bags are allowed in the gallery.) Also, the 'Barstow Tea Party' will take place in the Pavilion Restaurant between 3 and 4.30pm.

the programme begins at 6pm

The 10th International Congress will kick off at 6pm in the Atrium in the Foundation Building with a Welcoming Reception. This will be followed by the Opening Ceremony at 7pm with Michael Gelb in the University Concert Hall, Foundation Building. Later, enjoy a performance by Ceol Na Mara in the same venue.
